Crooked Fingers

Crooked Fingers live at Eddie's Attic ft. Julia Barfield! Dignity and Shame, the fourth album by Eric Bachmann's beloved outfit Crooked Fingers, returns to vinyl via Merge Records on January 29, 2027 -- remastered, expanded, and recognized as one of the brightest jewels in Bachmann's catalog. Written in Seattle after Bachmann relocated to escape his worst habits, the album embraced a soaring, cinematic sweep entirely different from his earlier work. Standout track Sleep All Summer was later covered by St. Vincent, The National, and Neko Case. A massive heart attack on Halloween 2025 almost ended his life -- but he survived, and he is back celebrating 20 years of one of his finest records. -- Athens, GA-based singer-songwriter Julia Barfield was raised in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, surrounded by the folk and Americana music that shapes her sound. Her debut EP Keep to Me is equal parts heartache and hope, delivered with a warm, gentle-yet-commanding voice.
