A versatile artist with deep roots in the Crescent City music tradition, Manuel has performed and recorded with jazz greats including Terence Blanchard, Nicholas Payton, Ellis Marsalis, Jon Hendricks, Fats Domino, Dr. John, the Meters, and Allen Toussaint. His acclaimed recordings span jazz, R&B, gospel, and holiday music, including A Time for Love, Love Happened to Me, and PM, featuring 12 original compositions. Beyond music, Manuel is an accomplished actor, writer, narrator, and voice-over artist. His diverse performance credits include Duke Ellington's Sacred Mass, a Nat , "rdquo" -> King" Cole retrospective, a Beatles tribute, classical works, and the bebop opera Lulu. He was also nominated for a Big Easy Award for his portrayal of vaudeville pioneer Bert Williams in Williams and Walker. From New Orleans to international stages, Phillip Manuel continues to showcase the depth, versatility, and soul that have made him a distinctive voice in American music. Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does NOT serve the full menu inside the Music Room. We do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
