Brad Walker is a New Orleans-based saxophonist and composer known for his expressive playing and genre-crossing approach to jazz. He has performed and recorded with artists including Bernard Purdie, Peter Erskine, George Porter Jr., Zigaboo Modeliste, Anders Osborne, Marcia Ball, Rickie Lee Jones, and Valerie June, while also touring and recording with Sturgill Simpson. Oscar Rossignoli is a Honduran-born pianist and composer who has been based in New Orleans since 2015. His music draws from classical music, Latin jazz, and North American jazz traditions. An in-demand collaborator, Rossignoli has performed with Jason Marsalis, John Boutté, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Herlin Riley, Joe Dyson, and Brad Walker, among many others. Walker and Rossignoli share a long-standing musical partnership, having collaborated on numerous projects and recordings, including Walker's Quintet and Live at Snug Harbor. Together, they bring a distinctive blend of modern jazz, improvisation, soulful melodies, and adventurous interplay to the stage. Doors: 4 pm Show: 5 - 6pm Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents free live weekly concerts.
