Betsy Braud*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Betsy Braud Betsy Braud, also known as , "rdquo" -> The Jazz Nurse," is a Louisiana-based multi-instrumentalist, flutist, saxophonist, and pianist whose music reflects a lifelong passion for jazz and healing. Raised in Thibodaux, she studied with renowned jazz educator Alvin Batiste and has performed throughout southern Louisiana and internationally. After more than 30 years as a registered nurse, Braud brings her two callings together through music, sharing her talents with audiences and collaborating with artists including Patrice Fisher and John Smart. Whether performing as a soloist or with her band, The Jazz Nurse Prescription, Braud delivers a heartfelt musical experience rooted in the rich traditions of Louisiana jazz. Doors: 3:30 pm Show: 4 - 5:30 pm Restaurant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner after showtime Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents live weekly concerts. You can see these shows every Saturday in person or by streaming on the Snug Harbor Facebook page. This is a free performance with no ticketing. Seating is on a first come-first served basis. Tips for the band are encouraged and go 100% to the musicians.
